The City of Worcester was awarded approximately $146 million from the US Department of Treasury and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts related to the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds.

Mass Development
In July 2006, the Massachusetts Legislature created a partnership between MassDevelopment and the Mass Cultural Council to accomplish three goals including enhancing the state’s creative economy by partially financing the acquisition, construction, expansion, renovation, and repair of cultural facilities.

National endowment for the humanities
NEH is an independent federal agency that supports the humanities in every state and U.S. jurisdiction. Since 1965, NEH has awarded over $6 billion to support museums, historic sites, universities, teachers, libraries, documentary filmmakers, public TV and radio stations, research institutions, scholars, and Indigenous communities.
